Beverly Hills Organizes New York Sales Mission
Oct 15, 2011
Thursday, October 13, 11-- A delegation from the City of Beverly Hills traveled to New York City from October 11 – 13 on a sales mission to promote Beverly Hills to New York-based retail and travel companies. The purpose of the annual mission, which has taken place for nearly 20 years, is to strengthen Beverly Hills’ status as a world-renowned icon of sophistication, luxury and service—and the premier destination for unrivaled shopping, dining and accommodations.

New York remains the number one feeder market for overnight stays in Beverly Hills. A recent American Express study revealed that American Express cardholders living in the New York City area spent $8.7 million dollars on lodging, shopping and dining in Beverly Hills in the second quarter of this year.*
The Beverly Hills delegation, led by Mayor Barry Brucker engages in dialogue directly with the CEOs and senior managers of New York-based luxury retailers in order to attract and maintain relationships beneficial to Beverly Hills and reinforce the message that the City and the business community work together to achieve a dynamic and supportive business environment.
