  -  Events   -  40th Running of the Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS welcomes more than 25,000 runners

On Sunday, March 16, more than 25,000 participants will navigate the 26.2-mile Stadium to the Stars course, starting at Dodger Stadium and culminating near Avenue of the Stars in Century City.

The sold-out event welcomes elite runners to casual joggers. The course is packed with entertainment, spectators, and all the support these athletes need to get to the finish line.

Spanning iconic landmarks such as Chinatown, Los Angeles City Hall, and Beverly Hills, the marathon’s route offers runners a picturesque journey through the heart of Los Angeles.

Among the most popular sections of the course is the world-famous Rodeo Drive where runners often stop to take selfies with their favorite landmarks and designer shops. Their journey is further inspired by the live music of the Pink Mozart String Quartet located on Rodeo Drive and Brighton.

Beyond the physical challenge, the event champions a larger cause, supporting The McCourt Foundation’s mission to build healthier communities and cure neurological diseases through fundraising and awareness. Through events including the Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS, the Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K, the Santa Monica Classic, and the Boston Waterfront 5K, TMF has donated more than $6.7 million to neurology research and has generated over $72 million for more than 105 nonprofit charity partners throughout the 40-year history of the Los Angeles Marathon.
