Personal Shopping in the Time of Coronavirus
I very much hope that you’re safe and that you’re staying cautious through this one in a lifetime event that is affecting the whole world.
In my country of origin – Spain – people have been confined to their homes for 15 days and I believe it’s only a matter of time until it happens in Los Angeles as well.
Reality struck me last Friday when I went to Whole Foods and Erewhon to do Personal Shopping for a client. Empty shelves, long lines, and puzzled faces everywhere. It seemed like people were preparing for the end of the world.
For your information, grocery stores and supermarkets replenish their shelves every morning. Shopping and delivery are services that I regularly do for my clients. These requests are now increasing due to the fact that many people rather stay home and avoid the long waits and crowded spaces (ex. Last Friday’s request took me 4 hours instead of the usual one hour and a half).
The following are some of the errands I can do you for you in the next weeks while you’re in the comfort of your home:
- Grocery Shopping
- Pharmacy
- Post Office
- Bank
- Best Buy and similar
- Others
This service is extremely helpful for people who are sick or for those who have trouble getting by without help. Please forward this information so they can be assisted.
In the meantime, let’s all follow the guidelines and remain calm. Let’s face this event as a global fight, not as an individual one.
This is already affecting each one of us in one way or the other, and we will only win if we’re all together.
We’ll survive!
