Dr. Davis, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, is making waves for his proprietary “Evo-Lyft,” the newest advancement in facelift surgery that is growing in popularity as it offers patients a more natural result and less healing time than a traditional facelift.  The latter has been criticized as it can sometimes make the patient look as if they just stepped out of a “wind tunnel.”

Dr. Davis has extensive medical experience and an innate desire to uplift and take care of those around him. His journey to medicine began unconventionally after serving in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. During his medical training at Indiana University School of Medicine, he established the first student-led free clinic in Northern Indiana, earning the AMA Leadership in Medicine Award. The Evo-Lyft involves accessing the face’s “deep plane” area and lifting that tissue vertically, effectively combating the vector of gravity while simultaneously preserving the surrounding surface of the skin. The skin and underlying tissue are then lifted but done so without separating the layers from each other. (Compare that to a traditional facelift in which only the skin itself is being stretched and pulled, which results in the “wind tunnel” look.). Other benefits of the Evo-Lyft include less swelling and bruising, shorter healing times and it allows the surgeon to perform other related procedures at the same time including laser and microneedling.

“The unnatural effects related to traditional facelifts are often due to the skin itself having to hold the face together — a job it’s never intended to do.  The Evo-Lyft’s real benefit is that it lifts the deeper structures of the face to where they resided in youth,” he explains.  “This ensures a natural, vertical, and durable facelift with the added benefit of preserving skin function and skin health.
