Since stepping into her role in 2021, Erin has made monumental strides in revitalizing Girls Inc. of Los Angeles. Her innovative approach and dedication have led to the successful “LA Girls Rise” event, which raised an impressive $500,000! This event is just one of many initiatives Erin has spearheaded, each aimed at empowering young women and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

Girls Inc. of Los Angeles serves girls, 5-13 years old, living in under-resourced LA neighborhoods. These young girls face intersecting systemic inequities that limit the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. In 2023, the organization will expand its services to high schools, aiming to support girls aged 14-18. The girls we serve attend schools classified as “High” or “Highest” needs on the Student Equity Needs Index, a holistic measure that looks beyond just free and reduced lunch rates to consider the environmental and community factors impacting students’ ability to learn and thrive.

Under Erin’s guidance, Girls Inc. of Los Angeles has embarked on a three-year strategic plan that promises to foster significant growth and build deep-rooted community relationships. This plan is a testament to Erin’s commitment to ensuring a bright and prosperous future for the organization and the young women it serves.
